Amazon S3
Amazon S3 (“Simple Storage Service”) is a scalable, reliable, low-cost, cloud-enabled object storage service, offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). DataChannel now supports syncing files directly from the Amazon S3 bucket, where multiple files can be synched as unique tables in your data warehouse.
User Profile(s): Sales, Marketing, Analytics, CXO Suite, Content, Customer Support, etc.
Setup Time: 15 minutes or so (Self-Service)
Destination Choice: AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
Visualization & Analytics: Tableau, Google Studio, Zoho Analytics, Looker, Power BI, etc.
DataChannel’s Amazon S3 connector provides an integrated analytics experience to its user, by bringing together siloed and disparate Amazon S3 accounts, buckets, and objects, which are then ingested into a user-chosen data warehouse automatically on a set schedule.
- The connector offers dedicated pipelines enabling granular access to the bucket data.
- Objects pulled from your Amazon S3 will be stored as a dedicated table within a schema in your chosen destination.
- Data is stored in a standardized manner to facilitate advanced analytics, dashboard reporting, Business Intelligence (BI) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) inquiries.
- You can set up advanced rules such as importing only last modified files, files matching a certain search criteria like name contains ‘xyz’, importing multiple files, moving files to another location after insert etc.
FTP
