What do you need?

  • An active Gmail account to work with Google Data Studio
  • An API access key from the DataChannel Account
  • A Data Warehouse configured in your DataChannel account

Step 1: Log into your DataChannel account and get the API key.

Step 2: Go to your Data Studio Account and access DataChannel Google Data Studio Connector from the partner connectors. [Create -> Data Source or use this link]

Step 3: Use the API Key generated in Step 1 to gain access.

Step 4: Select a data warehouse from the dropdown menu. [Only data warehouse instances accessible from your DataChannel account are visible here]

In case your data warehouse is not visible, please go to the data warehouse configuration tab in the DataChannel dashboard and check your credentials.

Step 5: Select the dataset of your choice from the dropdown TableorView. All the tables and views in the chosen data warehouse accessible through DataChannel should be available here.
